Welcome to Dispute Buddy ("we," "our," or "us"). Dispute Buddy is a MacOS application designed to extract and organise iMessage, SMS, and WhatsApp data from iOS devices for the purpose of generating PDF reports of selected conversations.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our application. We are committed to respecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data.

2. Information The Dispute Buddy App Processes

All processing of data is performed locally on your computer. The Dispute Buddy App does not send your phone data to Dispute Buddy servers for processing.

2.1 iOS Device Data

• Message Content: The app extracts and processes SMS, iMessage, and WhatsApp conversations, including text content, timestamps, and message status.
• Contact Information: Names, phone numbers, and other contact details stored in your device's address book.
• Attachments: Media files (images, videos, voice notes) shared in your conversations.
• Message Reactions: Emoji reactions to messages.
• Group Chat Information: Group chat names and membership details.

2.2 Device Information

• Device Name: The name of your iOS device.
• Storage Information: Information about your device's storage capacity and available space.
• Device UUID: A unique identifier for your iOS device.

2.3 User Information

• First and Last Name: Collected when you enter your details into the app for transactional purposes, such as communicating with you about your usage of Dispute Buddy.
• Email Address: Used to contact you with important updates, confirmations, and support regarding the app.
