What to do when you get this message ‘USB Accessories Disabled – Unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices’

This one’s actually a Mac hardware / power issue, not a Dispute Buddy issue, but it’s very common, and fixable.


What’s happening here is:

Your Mac has decided the thing plugged in (the iPhone, or the cable) is drawing

more power than the Mac wants to give, so macOS shuts the USB port down to protect itself.
