1. Make sure your iPhone is connected to your PC
2. Unlock your phone. You may need to enter your passcode to “Trust this Computer”
3. Open iTunes
4. Click on the phone icon as shown below (this can take several minutes to show as Windows might be setting up the connection in the background)

1. Untick the “Encrypt local backup”

1. Type in the password you used to setup encryption - if you don’t know this password you cannot continue
2. Click on “Don’t Encrypt” then stop the backup that automatically starts
