If you get an error message saying ‘Connect and unlock your phone’ but you have already done that, try these steps to solve it:

For Mac

  1. Make sure your phone is unlocked
  2. Check you are using an Apple-certified cable - some cheap cords don’t support data transfer, only charging
  3. Try a different USB port
  4. Restart your Mac and iPhone

For Windows

  1. Make sure your phone is unlocked
  2. Check your phone is detected in iTunes
    1. If you downloaded iTunes after you downloaded the Dispute Buddy app, it’s likely the ‘drivers’ are downloading. This takes about 20 mins.
  3. Disconnect your phone and restart your computer
